About our centre
Welcome to Free FEC Resource Center, Ethiopia's pioneering community hub dedicated to accessible entertainment, learning, and connection. We bring families, children, and adults together under one roof, completely free of charge.
Inspiring minds and bridging worlds
Our primary mission is to expand horizons. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover, learn, and explore modern global leisure. In times when economic hardship means resources are tightly focused on essential food and infrastructure, recreational development is often left behind. We provide a safe, welcoming venue where inquisitive minds can engage with diverse activities, sparking curiosity and creativity without financial strain.
Games and entertainment for everyone
Inside our building, you will discover a lively social environment equipped with classic and modern favourites. From stimulating board games and classic card matches to interactive group pastimes, our resources cater to all age groups. Whether you are bringing young children for an afternoon of fun or gathering with neighbours for friendly competition, our facility offers something inspiring for each visitor.
A vision across Addis Ababa and beyond
We are creating more than a single resource centre; we are piloting a model for community well-being. Starting here in Addis Ababa, our ambition is to replicate this vibrant African entertainment centre across Ethiopia and throughout the continent. By proving that high-quality, community-driven entertainment can be accessible to all, we hope to enrich lives and build resilient social spaces for future generations.
"Having a place where children and adults can play, learn, and connect without worrying about admission costs has brought genuine joy and unity to our community."
